We’re excited to announce that our menu will now feature six new made-from-scratch dishes. We’ve taken our time-tested method of crafting all of our dishes from scratch ingredients and created brand-new recipes.
Salmon & Strawberry Salad
Our Salmon & Strawberry Salad features spinach and mixed greens as its base, but the colorful flavors have only begun. We mix in Asiago cheese, juicy tomatoes and the summer favorite — strawberries.
With so many deliciously healthy ingredients in this salad, we didn’t think it would hurt to add a handful of candied pecans. After all, you all know how much we love pecans! Drizzled over everything is a house-made strawberry vinaigrette. Oh! We almost forgot about the blackened salmon. With so much flavor in one salad, you would think that there couldn’t possibly be more. But there is!
We slowly grill a salmon filet and lay it right on top of everything. While the blackened salmon may be the star of the show, the spinach, strawberries, cheese and pecans definitely complement the dish.
Blackened Redfish with Crab Sauce
In addition to our other seafood options, we are adding redfish to the menu. If you’re familiar with the flaky fish filets we blacken and grill to perfection, this redfish will be a welcomed addition to your favorite dishes at Cheddar’s.
The redfish is seasoned with blackening spices and grilled to juicy perfection. a crispy and peppery outer layer. The kick from the blackening spice will immediately have you salivating — and that’s without even mentioning the crab sauce!
Our crab sauce is a creamy mixture of half & half and super lump crab meat with hints of black pepper, lemon juice and spices, and it’s all ladled over a steaming hot plating of the blackened redfish filet and seasoned rice.
20 oz. Bone-in Ribeye
Before we continue, we just want to issue a warning that you shouldn’t try this at home — you should come into Cheddar’s and try it!
We may not be a steakhouse, but we’ve got the steak thing under control. A sprinkle of dried parsley here and a pinch of Montreal steak seasoning there, and you’ve got a 1 ¼ pound slab of juicy steak.
Trust us: you may want to try out our new Peach Crisp A La Mode, but after eating 20 oz. of our best ribeye steak, you may want to pack up your dessert for a late night snack at home.
BBQ Chicken Platter
Coming in right on the heels of National BBQ Month is our BBQ Chicken Platter. Just like the rest of you, we just couldn’t get enough of savory BBQ sauces, juicy meats or freshly made coleslaw. So in response to the request of taste buds far and wide, we’ve added a bit of our own BBQ-ed goodness.
We take chicken quarters and slow roast them so every ounce of flavor is ready for the eating. This dish offers a mouth-watering flavor from the Honey BBQ sauce that we slather all over the chicken while it’s still being roasted.
Couple this grilled goodness with a side of our hot, crispy fries and a side of coleslaw and you’ll be one happy camper. You’ll get nothing short of 100% of savory goodness with this new menu item.
BBQ Chicken & Half Rack of Ribs
Still haven’t gotten enough BBQ to satisfy your smoked-meat needs? Good! — because we’ve got an entire plate dedicated solely to BBQed goodness. We’ll be serving up a succulent rack of ribs and the juiciest piece of chicken you’ve ever sunk your teeth into.
Our Baby Back Ribs spend five hours being smoked to the peak of flavor and are only considered ready to serve once the meat falls right from the bones. But all of that juicy flavor doesn’t stop there — it just keeps coming!
A thick and juicy chicken quarter takes the place as the ribs’ partner in crime and adds even more delish to the dish. Both meats are covered in our house-made Honey BBQ sauce and whichever of our two made-from-scratch sides you think you can save room for.
Peach Crisp A La Mode
This dessert is the delectable combination of peach slices with cinnamon and vanilla baked right into the fruit and a crisp, golden topping. Drizzled caramel and two scoops of vanilla ice cream top all of the goodness off.
