We’ve Got So Many Reasons to Be Thankful

Thanksgiving is such a great time of year because it’s when we gather around the table and share a meal with the people who we love most. Not only is it a time for family and food, but it’s also a time to reflect on and be thankful for all of the things that make our lives worthwhile and beautiful. It’s important that we take the opportunity at least one time a year to express our feelings of thanks.

We’ve asked some of our Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen employees from all over the country to share with us what they’re most thankful for.

“The health and happiness of my family.”
— Terry Dyer, Service Manager, Coralville, IA

“My wife, Bethany, and her ability to manage our household. My three children: Waylon, 5; Abigail, 2; Doug, 1. They keep me focused on my career, God and family.”
— Doug Richards, Culinary Manager, Irving, TX

“My children, my mother, my life, my job, God!”
— Shelby Shay, Operations Manager, Kansas City, MO

“My family: my wife and two boys.”
— Paul Gjerdevig, Manager, Irving, TX

“For my relationship with my 6-year-old son and to Cheddar’s for the opportunity for an improved work/life balance.”
— Jonas Grela, Culinary Manager, Irving, TX

“My family: my wife and two boys.”
— Paul Gjerdevig, Manager, Irving, TX

“My three beautiful children.”
— Sam Everhart, Culinary Manager, Little Road, TX

“My amazing children, this opportunity to work at Cheddar’s, my brother, two sisters and parents.”
— Michael McGraw, Service Manager, Brandywine, MD

“My health and my family. Cherish them while you have them!”

“For a beautiful wife and son.”
— Todd Harkin, Culinary Manager, Fairview Heights, IL

It’s so great to see that no matter who we are or where we live, there is something that we all have in common: The love and gratitude we have for our families.

From all of us at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, we are so thankful for your allowing us to serve you our very best. We couldn’t successfully prepare our made-from-scratch food or serve those who enter our restaurant, so thank you.
